Herefords Australia is delighted to welcome Dimity Evans to the team as our new Registry & Member Services Officer, commencing Monday, 8 December 2025.
Dimity brings a strong passion for the agricultural industry and a wealth of hands-on experience. Having grown up around cattle, her interest in livestock started early and was fostered during her time at Yanco Agricultural High School (2015–2020), where she was an active member of the Show Stock team. She credits this experience as the foundation of her career in agriculture.
Dimity recently graduated from the University of New England, where she completed a Bachelor of Agriculture, majoring in Animal Production with a minor in Livestock Production. During this time, she gained valuable exposure to the breed society world through roles with ABRI, working there twice over the past three years.
Most recently, Dimity has returned north after spending time in the Riverina working at JBS Prime City Feedlot. Across her three years at Prime, both during university and following graduation, she developed strong skills and a deep appreciation for the feedlot sector, an area she hopes to continue engaging with into the future.
Outside of work, Dimity is kept on her toes by her energetic Kelpie, and when she’s not doing that, she’s likely in the gym pursuing her passion for powerlifting.
Dimity shared, “I am one of the new additions to the Hereford team! I will be stepping into the Registry & Member Services Officer role, and I can’t wait to work with you all and assist you where I can.”
Please join us in warmly welcoming Dimity to the Herefords Australia team. We are excited to have her on board and look forward to the contribution she will bring to our members and our organisation.
