2025 Harris Farm Herefords Australia National Youth Expo – Event Wrap-Up 10–13 July | Exhibition Park, Canberra, ACT

The 2025 Harris Farm Herefords Australia National Youth Expo was a vibrant celebration of youth, education, and excellence in the beef industry. Held at Exhibition Park in Canberra from 10–13 July, the event welcomed over 135 enthusiastic young cattle lovers from across the country for four days of hands-on learning, competition, and connection.

This year’s Expo offered something for everyone, from first-time attendees to experienced young breeders, with a packed program that included skill-based demonstrations like halter making, knot tying, feed milling, and nutrient conversions. The carefully designed sessions ensured that participants of all ages gained practical, age-appropriate knowledge they could take home and apply.

A major highlight was the Junior Judging, Paraders, and Heifer Show competitions, where the passion and preparation of our youth were on full display. We also welcomed inspiring guest speakers and ran engaging educational sessions that empowered the next generation of leaders in the beef industry.

Thanks to the support of Harris Farm and our generous sponsors, as well as the dedication of the Herefords Australia Youth Committee, parents, volunteers, and industry mentors, the 2025 Expo was truly a standout success.
