Countdown to the 2025 Youth Expo

Harris Farm Herefords Australia National Youth Expo – 10–13 July, Canberra 

Excitement is building as we count down the final days to the 2025 Harris Farm Herefords Australia National Youth Expo, set to take place 10–13 July at Exhibition Park, Canberra. With final preparations well underway, we’re thrilled to welcome youth competitors, their families, spectators, and industry supporters from across the country and welcome back our international competitors and team from New Zealand! 

Registrations will open at 11am on Thursday 10 July, and we’ll kick off the Expo promptly at 1pm—so be sure to arrive early, ready to hit the ground running. This year’s event promises to be our biggest yet, with over 130 competitors aged 6 to 25 years ready to learn, lead and showcase their skills in the breed we’re all passionate about. 

From hands-on workshops to junior judging, parading and cattle preparation, the Expo is an unmissable opportunity for young people to build their confidence, cattle knowledge and friendships that last a lifetime.

We love welcoming spectators to our Youth Expo, but please remember that strict event rules also apply to all non-competitors. We ask for your cooperation to ensure the safety, smooth running and positive experience for everyone involved.
