Herefords Australia Youth will provide financial support for a participating Herefords Australia Youth member seeking an educational travel experience (destination of their choice) to further develop their knowledge and understanding of the breed on a greater scale. The successful applicant will receive up to $5,000 to embark on their nominated educational trip.
Travel destination and duration is to be chosen and nominated by the applicant using the below application form.
Eligibility:
Financial Herefords Australia Youth members who are entered (and compete) in the Herefords Australia Youth National Expo in the same year as applying for the travel scholarship are eligible to apply for the Herefords Australia Youth National Expo Travel Scholarship.
All applicants must be 18 years of age prior to travel.
Travel must be undertaken within 12 months (special consideration will be given upon request).
Scholarship Application Requirements:
To be considered for the Herefords Australia Youth National Expo Travel scholarship, we must receive by mail or email your completed application no later than 24 June 2024.
Late or incomplete applications will not be considered. A complete application consists of:
1. Complete below Scholarship Application
2. Applicant statement explaining why you should be considered to receive the Herefords Australia Youth National Expo Scholarship and what you feel you can contribute to Herefords Australia Youth if you are awarded the scholarship
3. Copy of current resume
Completed entry forms for the 2024 Herefords Australia Youth National Expo must be submitted separately prior to close of entries on 12 May 2024. All eligibility requirements need to be met. If there are no eligible applicants, or applications received aren’t to the standard required, Herefords Australia Youth have the right to not award the scholarship in 2024.
