Exciting news was shared earlier this month with Grace Collins being awarded the CM Hocking Scholarship. It is encouraging to see such enthusiasm and dedication from applicants who are committed to the betterment of the breed and the industry as a whole. We look forward to hearing more from Grace as she progresses in her studies and achieves great things over the next 12 months. Congratulations, Grace!
Another significant announcement this month was our partnership with StockCo by Heartland Bank, who have secured Naming Rights Partner for the StockCo by Heartland Bank Herefords Australia 60th National Show and Sale (Wodonga). This partnership is a natural fit, given StockCo’s significant involvement in the livestock industry. Please join me in welcoming StockCo by Heartland Bank as a key partner in our milestone event.

We recently announced changes to the Super Sires program necessitated by the number of bulls now included in the program and the reranking of animals over time. The eligibility criteria has been amended to ensure the program continues delivering on its objective, maintains its integrity and Super Sires continue to be recognised as a superior group of animals. Bulls that drop below the threshold for eligibility will now transition from the Super Sires list to a newly created Former Super Sires list. More details are available on the Super Sires page on our website.
