At the recent 12th Annual General Meeting of Herefords Australia held in Hamilton, Victoria, there was one ordinary resolution and three special resolutions voted on by the membership. Below is a summary of the results of the votes:
Resolution 1 – That the nomination of Hilary O’Leary as a life member of Herefords Australia Limited be approved
Moved: Trish Worth Seconded: Geoff Birchnell CARRIED
Special Resolution 1 – That clause 27.1 of the Constitution of Herefords Australia Limited be amended by deleting the figures 50 and substituting therefor the figures 25 (as set out in Information for Members)
Moved: Geoff Birchnell Seconded: Trish Worth CARRIED
Special Resolution 2 – That Clause 22.1 and 22.2(a) of the Constitution of Herefords Australia be amended by deleting the word ‘warn,’ where twice occurring. (as set out in Information for Members)
Moved: Geoff Birchnell Seconded: Trish Worth CARRIED
Special Resolution 3 – Amendment to clauses 42, 43 and 47 of the Constitution of Herefords Australia (as set out in Information for Members)
Moved: Geoff Birchnell Seconded: Trish Worth CARRIED
As all three special resolutions regarding the Herefords Australia constitution were carried, the constitution is being updated and will be effective as per the close of the meeting.
