Herefords Australia Limited enhances your Society membership through information transfer and increasingly active involvement in Australia’s modern beef industry. “Beef is a critical part of the food-chain and we are working with our members to ensure Herefords increase their significance in all aspects of production and supply.” Warren Clark CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER INFORMATION Scientific Services provide members with tools to monitor herd advancement and development. Delivered in many formats, from hard-copy to electronic, these services are viewed as a critical component in securing the breed’s future. COMMUNICATION Herefords Australia produce an annual magazine which is directly mailed to all members. It features highlights of the year from Sales and major Shows. It will also feature stud locator maps and a member directory. This annual publication has a distribution of 3,000 copies, Australia and the world-over. Hereford Advantage magazines are produced twice per year with a distribution of 60,000 to 100,000 copies in Rural Press newspapers. Hereford Online is an accurate and immediate source for news & views. Receiving an average of 100,000 hits every month, the website, is a valuable avenue for reading and researching, as well as publicity and promotion. SALES & MARKETING The Sales & Marketing Team is committed to raising the profile and popularity of the Hereford breed. Regular research into the attitudes and expectations of members, and industry, forms the basis of the Society’s extensive rural-media marketing campaigns. Members can work with the Media Team to develop their own marketing campaigns, suitable for exposure in HAL publications or the website.
