This year’s sale didn’t reach the top prices of last year’s sale due to the drier conditions leading up to sale day, which meant there were fewer purchasers as many people couldn’t afford to take on any more cattle in this dry time.
Cattle were also judged in their 3 respective age classes, the judge for the day was Mr. Stewart Moore, Mernot Hereford Stud, Gloucester.
