A handpicked group of young Australian leaders are heading to Kansas this October to take part in the World Hereford Youth Program, held in conjunction with the 2025 World Hereford Conference.
This global competition brings together youth from around the world for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to compete, learn, grow, and represent their country and their breed.
From practical cattle-handling and team challenges to leadership workshops, ag industry tours, and a global networking experience, this is so much more than a show ring.
And our Aussie team is ready to bring the heat (and the heart) to Kansas.
Why We Need Your Help
Getting to Kansas is a big undertaking, from flights and accommodation to uniforms, training and entry fees, there’s a lot involved in preparing our team for the world stage.

And if we go above and beyond our fundraising goal?
If our fundraising efforts exceed the immediate needs, Herefords Australia have committed allowing us Team Herefords Australia to allocated the surplus funds. The intention is to establish a legacy fund or scholarship to support future youth teams attending international conferences, or a youth initiative close to the team’s heart. Just to clarify, these funds will remain entirely separate from HAL’s operating expenses and will stay youth-focused.
Community Backing, World-Class Opportunity
A powerful show of support has just propelled our World Hereford Team closer to the 2025 World Hereford Conference, thanks to the generosity of Llandillo Poll Herefords.
In a powerful show of belief in our youth, Llandillo Poll Herefords has generously donated $10,000 to help fund Team Herefords Australia’s journey to the World Hereford Conference in 2025. This incredible gesture not only demonstrates faith in the next generation, but a true commitment to backing the breed beyond the paddock.
Herefords Australia has matched the donation dollar for dollar, taking the total to $20,000. This combined investment will directly support the team’s travel, accommodation, official delegate costs, and preparation efforts as they gear up to represent Australia on the international stage.
