Future Leaders & Breeders 2025

Join us for a hands-on, eye-opening study tour designed to connect passionate young Australians with the people, places, and innovations shaping the beef industry.

Why This Study Tour?

Herefords Australia has a long and proud legacy, but our future is even more exciting. And that future starts with you.

Our members asked for something real.
Not another seminar. Not another talkfest.
They wanted hands-on, relevant, and career-shaping. So we built it.

The TSU de-capping machine in action at the Neogen Lab.

We are heading to Tamworth

This isn’t just another event, it’s your chance to get hands-on and expand your understanding of the beef industry from the inside out. Our exclusive study tour will take you behind the scenes of:
An Abattoir – See the process in action, engage with the supermarket supply chain, and understand how carcase quality connects back to production.
A Feedlot – Learn how preparation, nutrition, care and performance link to market outcomes.
A Commercial Hereford Operation – Get up close with a working property and hear directly from producers.
Networking – Connect with industry leaders, build relationships with peers, and set yourself up for future opportunities.

See how it all comes together, from start to finish.

Delegates will see how Teys balances tradition with innovation, processing premium grass-fed and grain-fed beef for domestic and international markets. It’s a chance to understand how large-scale beef production delivers consistent quality and meets the demands of global customers.
