Kianma Poll Herefords Award 2025
This scholarship has been made possible through the generous donation from Kianma Poll Herefords of the Martin Family in New South Wales. A new offering for the 2025 Herefords Australia National Youth Expo. The successful applicant will receive a Hereford industry tour of New Zealand.
Eligibility:
Financial Herefords Australia Youth members, are minimum 18 years old at the time of travel.
Must have valid passport at the time of travel. Travel dates are The 6th-15th of March 2025.
Award recipients are required to attend and be involved with the 2026 National Youth Expo and deliver a short presentation of their experience to the 2026 Expo competitors.
Rough Itinerary
- A minimum of six stud visits
- A commercial station visit
- Showing cattle at Wanaka Show with Waikaka and Dragon fly genetics
- A helicopter flight in Queenstown to Milford sound
- A day sightseeing in Queenstown (Optional)
Scholarship Application Requirements:
To be considered for the Kianma Poll Herefords Award, we must receive by email your completed application no later than July 8, 2025.
Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
