This year Herefords Australia Youth are hosting the Empowering Future Breed Leaders seminar series.
Aligned with the annual Herefords Australia National Youth Expo purpose and program content, the online series is designed to inform (and inspire) youth members and friends who have an interest in the beef cattle industry but lots of questions about the different training and education pathways and career opportunities.
Hosted by Struan Pearce (StudStockSales.com), the series will feature a diverse range of guests – from agents, to analysts, to breeders and lot feeders to those carving out niches in management, sales, and communications – and the story behind their career. Struan will interview two guests per episode with participants also able to put forward their questions.
The first of four episodes is 7:30pm – 8:30pm, Tuesday 12th October and features Tom Green (Feedlot Manager, Nuffield Scholar) and Lincoln McKinlay (Stud Stock Specialist/Auctioneer, local and international Champion Livestock Auctioneer).
To tune in, all you need to do is register via THIS LINK.
Other episodes will be livestreamed at 7.30pm Tuesday 19th and 26th of October with the final episode 7:30pm Tuesday 2nd November.
There is no cost to participate, and registration is open to all Herefords Australia National Youth members, 2019 and 2021 National Youth Expo entrants and others in the community who want to hear from some wonderful young Australians making their way in the beef cattle industry.
The National Youth Committee have really enjoyed developing this concept and are confident each episode will inform and inspire and with Struan at the helm, entertain!
