Bulls can be viewed at our open day on 14 August. These bulls are the second offering of sale bulls from Winter Genetics (established as Winter Herefords in 1992). \nSale bulls are from two sires. Wirruna Page WNAP070 (12 bulls offered) is a well-rounded docile bull with excellent fertility\, weight and carcase traits. He is top 5% for all four $ indexes. He is a Wirruna Ledger L285 son and his dam’s sire was Otapawa Spark 3060 (NZ). The quality of his calves speak for themselves. VP Endure Q033 (9 bulls offered) is a NJW 79Z Z311 ENDURE 173D son. He is a long\, deep\, dark red bull with excellent muscling structure and docility. Top 5% for EMA\, he has excellent fertility\, birth weight\, scrotal size and days to calve figures. He has produced some excellent\, handsome and quiet bulls. \nAll bulls are morphology tested\, fully vaccinated and independently structurally assessed. \nHigh genetic selection pressure via EBVs\, structural traits and docility has been applied to Winter Genetics cows for the past 30 years\, resulting in a high performance\, quiet\, Queensland adapted herd for bull breeding. This sale presents an opportunity to purchase high quality new genetics for your herd.
