Entries open January for the 2024 Dubbo National Poll Hereford Show and Sale
All bulls entered in the Show and Sale must be sire verified and free of genetic conditions IE, DL, HY and MSUD AT THE TIME OF ENTRY. Vendors also need to submit growth figures to obtain Birth, 200 Day, 400 Day and 600 Day Estimated Breeding Values (EBVs) and submitted scans/measurements for EMA, Scrotal Circumference, IMF, Rib Fat and Rump Fat scans. Please contact Herefords Australia ASAP if you require tests as both DNA results and BREEDPLAN data are to be submitted and confirmed at the close of entries.
Entries close at 5pm Friday 1st March 2024.
Some important notes
- ONE DAY SHOW/SALE FORMAT – both the Show and Sale will take place on Tuesday 6th June.
- 2024 – all bulls must pass an onsite Vet inspection
- Bulls must still be semen tested on property within 70 days prior to the Show and Sale, with appropriate documentation presented at the time of inspection on Monday 3rd June 2024
- All bulls to be PI Tested negative.
- All bulls must be sire verified and free of IE DL HY MSUD genetic conditions AT THE TIME OF ENTRY
- To be a JBAS score six or greater.
- Full colored catalogue with photos to be submitted by 8th April 2024. The Dubbo Show and Sale Committee will contact vendors with photographer options after entries close.
- Professional Photos and Videos are strongly recommended.
