The Southern Cross sale held on Sept 10 had its best result ever, when 69 bulls sold to average $6427. The top price of $30000 was paid by Lotus Stud and Tummel stud in partnership for Talbalba Wagon, a heavily muscled son of Bundarra Wally. Talbalba Warrior, by Courallie Advance Z149, made $14000 to Lambert Stud, Charleville. Commercial support was a feature of the sale.
