Vale Craig Montgomery (27/01/2012)
The Land’s Craig Montgomery passed away on Wednesday night (January 25) after a long and tough battle with kidney and liver problems on top of several years of serious health issues. Craig had been in hospital since before Christmas awaiting a transplant and his condition progressively deteriorated. He was in his late 50’s.
Despite these major health issues, Craig demonstrated enormous energy and enthusiasm in his dealings with breed organisations and seedstock producers. He loved a chat and long phone calls often resulted.
Based in Armidale, NSW, Craig was a big part of Rural Press and especially The Land for more than 25 years.
He was a great whiteface supporter and even had his own Hereford stud, Goose Creek.
For funeral arrangements contact Brett Tindall of The Land on 0408 626 955.
