The joint winners of the 2012 C.M. Hocking Memorial Scholarship Award are Kate Morris and Ian Croft.
Kate Morris is currently studying a Bachelor of Agriculture at the University of New England. Kate has been a long term Herefords Youth member and Youth Committee member and has actively participated in cattle showing, cattle management and handling at their family farm “Reedy Creek”, Lagoon, NSW and has worked on other properties.
Ian Croft grew up on a beef and sheep property at Guyra NSW. Having completed a Bachelor of Rural Science degree at University of New England and a Masters Degree in Agriculture, Ian has gone on to further his studies in Veterinary Science in Wagga Wagga.
Herefords Australia would like to offer congratulations and wishes both these worthy recipients all the best in their studies and future agricultural endeavours.
